From chaos to perfection: A complete helm console and 12V/230V electrical refit.

The old, unreadable tangle of wires and dead gauges are a thing of the past. For this project, we hit the complete reset button. We designed and built a modern electrical core from the ground up, featuring the advanced Simarine PICO monitoring system and ultra-reliable Philippi switch panels. Discover what true engineering precision looks like on the water.

The Helm Console: A Museum of Technology

Stepping onto this yacht, we encountered a classic picture of neglected electrics—the kind that drains the joy out of sailing and poses a genuine safety hazard:

  • Cluttered & Locked Console: Instead of an ergonomic helm, we found outdated, unreadable instruments, a non-functional plotter, and makeshift repairs masked with electrical tape. The lack of clear labeling on switches made basic vessel operation a guessing game.

  • A "Rat's Nest" Below Deck: Hidden inside the electrical locker was a literal ticking time bomb. A chaotic tangle of loose, unsecured, and unlabeled wires without professional busbars. This isn't just a nightmare for diagnostics—it's a severe fire risk.

This yacht required an immediate "hard reset" and a complete electrical rebuild, strictly according to marine engineering standards.

A New Face for the Yacht: From a Worn-Out Dash to a Modern Command Center

Vessel Transformation: From Outdated Console to Modern Nav Station

  • Custom Carpentry & Joinery: We removed the unsightly plastics and makeshift tape. The new wooden enclosure blends seamlessly into the yacht's interior, providing a clean, solid foundation for modern equipment.

  • Simarine & Philippi Systems: We replaced outdated analog gauges with the Simarine PICO digital monitoring system and a heavy-duty, fully labeled Philippi control panel. The result is ultimate readability and ergonomics.

  • Engineering Precision Behind the Scenes: Behind the beautiful woodwork lies a completely new 12V/230V installation. Instead of a dangerous tangle of wires, we now have neatly routed looms, professional busbars, and clearly labeled circuits, ensuring 100% safety on the water.
