We encountered a classic yacht scenario where, over the years, the wiring had taken on a life of its own. What exactly did we have to strip out?
Corroded Terminals: A thick layer of green oxidation on the main busbars. This isn't just an aesthetic issue—it creates massive electrical resistance, leading to overheating connections, severe voltage drops, and, in extreme cases, a major fire hazard.
Unsecured & Tangled Wiring: Cables routed haphazardly without proper chafe protection, conduits, or any clear labeling.
Obsolete Equipment: Legacy battery chargers and a mismatched battery bank that provided zero reliability when off-grid or offshore.
The entire legacy system was completely removed and scrapped. We designed and built the new installation from the ground up, driven by engineering precision, strict marine standards, and uncompromising quality.
